Applications open

A daily hot breakfast, food bank, ID support, free laundry, free tax filing and outreach services, Monday through Friday in the north end. The volunteer program runs on choice and flexibility — monthly sign-up sheets, pick the day that works.

Roles

Café Assistant (Outreach)

Tue/Wed/Thu 9:15am–noon — a welcoming café, unhoused-supplies help, art and games

Food Bank Registration Desk

Tue–Thu, ~3-hour morning or afternoon shifts — welcome clients, check-in via Link2Feed

Shopper Assistant (Food Bank)

Tue–Thu, ~3-hour shifts — shop the market alongside clients

Meal Prep Assistant

Wed/Thu/Fri 9:30am–12:30pm — prep, cook and package ready-to-eat meals

Delivery Organizer

Mondays 9:15am–1pm — receiving the weekly Feed Nova Scotia delivery

Front desk / admin

Tue–Fri, ~3-hour shifts — emails, calls, laundry program and food bank checks
