Red Sky Cider Appellation is hosting a harvest dinner at Akerley Campus with communal seating, local ciders, and stories straight from Nova Scotia's orchardists and producers.
Nova Scotia Cider Association and the Nova Scotia Community College (Akerley Campus) will manage and host a special evening celebrating Nova Scotia’s cider makers, orchards and the distinctive character of the RED SKY Cider Appellation. There will be communal table seating, creating an opportunity to meet fellow cider and food enthusiasts while hearing the stories behind the producers, orchards, craftsmanship and terroir that define Nova Scotia's RED SKY Appellation. Participating local cideries include: Beausoleil Farmstead, Chain yard Urban Cidery, Lake City Cider, Island Folk Cider, House, Moonrise Ridge, Maritime Express Cidery, Red Core and Spurr Brothers.
Throughout the evening, guests will enjoy exceptional hospitality, professional service and a memorable dining experience, presented by students from NSCC’s Culinary Management and Hotel & Restaurant Management programs under the guidance of NSCC chefs and faculty.
A portion of the proceeds will go toward a scholarship for students in the NSCC Culinary and Hospitality Programs.
