Join us at the us at The Deanery Project for Natural Building EAST, a symposium that brings together builders , designers , craftspeople , researchers , material producers , homeowners and the curious to explore sustainable, low-carbon ways of building.
Through presentations, conversations, hands-on workshops, demonstrations and site tours, Building from HERE! creates opportunities to share knowledge and practical skills — reflecting the Deanery’s broader role as a place where environmental stewardship and community come together.

what to expect
PANEL DISCUSSIONS, PRESENTATIONS & DISPLAYS : Hear from people working in the field, doing the research and putting ideas into practice
HANDS-ON : Experience materials and techniques through demonstrations, mini-workshops and making.
SEE IT BUILT : Get inside low-carbon and alternative buildings on and off site. On Sunday, NBE heads out into the community for local field trips and special programming.
MEET THE PEOPLE DOING IT : Talk with builders, designers, craftspeople, researchers, material producers and homeowners working with natural and low-carbon building in our region.
