A free social paddle along the Shubenacadie Canal route, launching at the Portobello Incline Plane and travelling through Lake William and Lake Thomas to the Gordon R. Snow Recreation Centre in Fall River. The roughly 9.25 km route takes about two hours of paddling; registration is required, and big canoes with PFDs and paddles are available for those without their own boat.
