Aquakultre (Lance Sampson) hosts a free community listening party and launches the Matriarchs exhibit, created with artistic collaborator Louisa Adamson, at the Black Cultural Centre. The immersive installation — the first element of the upcoming 1783 Installation — invites visitors to take a seat in his grandmother's living room and honours the Black Nova Scotian women who preserve and pass down history and culture.
