The Deanery Project hosts two hands-on food preservation workshops with Jude Major. September 5 covers Canning Basics & Pressure Canner 101, including a water-bath canning demonstration and certification to borrow the Deanery's pressure canner; September 13 is a Potluck Soup session where participants turn surplus garden vegetables into a community soup and pressure-can it to take home.
