Join us for Spring ForeWord, a celebration of books, stories, writers and readers in Kjipuktuk/Halifax, Saturday April 25 to Wednesday April 29.

Featuring Colleen Coco Collins, Kim Echlin, Vicki Grant, Iain Reid, Tom Ryan, Sue Sinclair, Souvankham Thammavongsa, and Christine Wu, with hosts Stephanie Domet, Fazeela Jiwa, Tom Ryan, and Evelyn C. White, Spring ForeWord offers a lively mix of readings and conversations from some of our favourite writers. Plus, celebrate Independent Bookstore Day on Saturday April 25 with deals, sales, and surprises courtesy of festival sponsor the King’s Co-op Bookstore. And explore bookish destinations along Agricola Street with our first-ever North End Book Crawl. Plus, by popular demand, AwkWord returns with a night of hilarious true storytelling at Cafe Lara with Emily Domet, Carole Rankin, Evelyn C. White, and more.
