Outdoor screening: Amélie — Carbon Arc

Saturday, June 6, 9:00 PM Jean-Pierre Jeunet | Canada | 2001 | 122m French with English subtitles Carbon Arc is heading outdoors for our screening of this classic French feature starring Audrey Tautou! We will be screening this film in an intimate outdoor setting: the backyard of the Natural History Museum (or as it’s affectionately known to us: Gus’s Garden). More info available soon! Amélie is a fanciful comedy about a young woman who discretely orchestrates the lives of the people around her, creating a world exclusively of her own making. Shot in over 80 Parisian locations, acclaimed director Jean-Pierre Jeunet (“Delicatessen”; “The City of Lost Children”) invokes his incomparable visionary style to capture the exquisite charm and mystery of modern-day Paris through the eyes of a beautiful ingénue.
